Robust and compact length and angle sensor with CANbus output

Tecnord has expanded its sensor products range with the introduction of the compact length and angle sensor model EC-SNR-LA-4,5180-H that measures the extension of a telescoping cylinder and its angle with respect to gravity. This sensing device is equipped with dual electronics, a double length sensor (potentiometer) and a double inclinometer (accelerometer), with CANbus output. It is fully redundant in order to be applied into systems that require EN ISO 13849 safety standard. This is an ideal sensor for several applications, ranging from measuring boom length and angle of cranes and telescopic man lifts to measuring positions of outriggers and stabilizers feet. Moreover, this device is made to withstand the harsh environment of mobile applications.
